Visual assets to conway a message using the subvertising technique
Created as part of the MA Visual and Experience Design program, this identity design project responds to the theme of crisis leading to experimental identity change. Focusing on Deutsche Bank's history of financial scandals and lack of oversight, the project uses speculative design to critique and reimagine the brand’s identity.
Using subvertising techniques, the logo was transformed and hand drawn onto detergent capsules symbolizing an attempt to "clean" its gloomy image. The final visuals were captured on an iPhone and refined in Photoshop.
This eight week project involved extensive research, ideation, and prototyping to create a conceptually rich and visually engaging critique of corporate branding in crisis.
